Objectives/Work Plan

In 2008, the focus of RAB’s work is to deliver advice to the Secretary of State, BERR, on delivery of the UK’s share of the EU target for 20% renewable energy by 2020. In order to provide comprehensive, but targeted advice, RAB has established eight workstreams to supervise the delivery of defined tasks.

Activity:	No RAB activity currently planned.

*Task 13*	*Maximising the contribution of on-site renewables to EU target.*
Activity:	A project “the fiscal and financial incentive components of major energy retrofit strategy for UK homes” to review the fiscal measures, and costs of these measures, that could influence uptake of onsite renewables (heat and generation) in achieving the UK’s share of the EU 2020 target.
